Tilted Productions would like to invite people who use wheelchairs and other mobility tools, including prosthetics to a free movement workshop at DanceEast, Ipswich. Tilted Productions is a performance company based in Ipswich that merges movement, physical theatre and visual art.
The company has a special interest in the physical dialogue between the human body and objects. We have a history of integrating objects to initiate movement and communicate social, political and environmental themes. This workshop will focus on creative ideas around our sense of identity and our relationship with the environment. We will work with natural materials and other objects the company uses in its current productions. The session will include a short warm up, creative tasks, movement explorations and discussion in a fun and relaxed environment.
No prior dance experience necessary just open mindedness and curiosity!
Please note if you have additional needs other than mobility there is a workshop on Friday 17th February 4 – 6pm that may be more appropriate.
Appropriate for ages 12-100!
